This 8K network video recorder supports network access through a built-in self-adaptive up to 1000 Mbps network interface. Users can remotely access the NVR via the 'Hik Connect' app on their smartphones, tablets, computers, and browsers. The maximum number of remote connections is 128.
Adopting the advanced H.265+ video compression technology, this 8K 32-channel NVR can effectively reduce storage space by up to 75% compared to H.264. The H.265+ video format provides longer recording time, better image quality, and an excellent, smooth video stream.
The Hik NVR features two HDMI interfaces and a VGA interface, allowing users to connect to a monitor via HDMI output and a computer via VGA output. The HDMI 1 output resolution can reach up to 8K (7680x4320)/30Hz, while the HDMI 2 output resolution can go up to 4K (3840 × 2160)/60Hz. The VGA output resolution is capped at 1920x1080/60Hz. The device supports HDMI 1/VGA simultaneous output and HDMI 2/VGA independent output.
